Little Heroes Nursery Appeal · 29 May 2012

RSBC believe every blind child and their family should have the skills and confidence they need to live their life without limits. We work with blind children and young people and their families to develop the skills they need to overcome the barriers to realising their hopes, dreams and ambitions.

Story

There is absolutely nothing worse than learning your child is blind.

And there is nothing better than learning it doesn’t mean they can’t pursue their dreams.

That’s what many of the parents and grandparents of blind children at our nursery tell me when we talk.

Thanks to the generosity of previous donors we have been able to rescue babies from the lifetime of loneliness, depression and unemployment that thousands of blind people face in adulthood.

But we need to ask for your urgent help.

With your support we can can expand our nursery services to help more blind babies and toddlers.

You can read more about the appeal and meet some of the little heroes you'll be helping on our website: www.littleheroesappeal.com

Thank you for stopping by and doing your bit to help.  It is greatly appreciated.
