Luna’s Legacy
Our daughter Luna Ivy Paulina Cook was born 20th January 2019. After birth Luna was diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome, also known as Trisomy 18.
She passed away a short 12 hours later.
95% of babies diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome do not survive the womb. Luna was so incredibly strong to push through until full term. She wanted to meet her family just as much as we wanted to meet her.
We were able to spend a further 3 days in the Snowdrop Bereavement suite at the Northampton General Hospital funded by the charity. Sands also provided us with a memory box and an information pack to help us along our baby loss journey. They have also funded for a memorial garden in the same area to where Luna rests.
We would like to give back to Sands who have supported us through the worst time of our lives.
Please donate to Sands with whatever value you can afford to give. Every penny will be appreciated. We are extremely grateful for your donations.
Luna will always be loved and will never be forgotten. We will continue to talk about her and make sure babyloss is NOT a taboo subject.
Thank you for reading and for your donation.
