Great Manchester Run 2016 · 22 May 2016 ·

When a child is diagnosed with a heart problem it is a difficult time for the whole family. The Children’s Heart Association would like to help. We hold support meetings across the area; provide equipment and toys for our wards and clinics; and work closely with your cardiac team.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

We are running the Great Manchester 10k on Sunday 22nd May to raise money for the Children's Heart Association, a fabulous charity in the North West of England who look after families affected by congenital and acquired heart problems.  This cause is close to our own hearts.  Phil and I welcomed our little lady in to the world in January of this year, however her ticker isn't ticking quite right.  Whilst out little superstar is doing extremely well, we still have a long road ahead which includes surgery to mend her ticker.

Although 10k doesn't seem far to many, both my good friend Sian and I have given birth just this year so getting the running shoes on and getting out there is no 'walk, or run, in the park'.  Help us to raise money to ensure the support offered by the CHA continues long in to the future.
