On Sunday 15th May I am once again joining the Little Walk With Me (LWWM). I completed the 10 mile Kids charity fundraising walk back in 2019 but due to the pandemic has not been run since, so I am really excited that it is back on again and I am able to participate.

This year the LWWM is supporting I Can & I Am, which is a charity with a passion to inspire confidence and to 'inflate balloons of self belief'. The charity was founded by the inspirational educational speaker James Shone who visits hundreds of schools and businesses every year. In 2020 the charity was given a converted double decker bus, which has enabled I Can & I Am to step up their involvement with young people. We have been very lucky at Moulsford Prep School to have been visited by the bus, James and his team, with a focus on improving self-esteem and inflating balloons of self-belief.

What makes it even more personal for me is Anthony Dutton, Operations Conductor, the man behind making the bus project come to life, is a very long standing family friend on my mums side. This makes it even more special as I know my grandma will be even more proud of me supporting this extremely worthwhile charity that also has a personal family connection.
