This group of wonderful runners are taking on the Great North Run 2018 to fight diabetes. We've got a range of ages and abilities, but we are one team - #TeamDUK

Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this page.

In 2014 I lost my Mum, Hayley, to diabetes. She was only 45 years old and sadly experienced many problems associated with the condition.

In 2016 I was given the incredible opportunity to run for Diabetes UK in the London Marathon and raised a total of £2,895.24.

This year I have decided to take on another challenge The Great North Run 2018 and have again been given a place through Diabetes UK! It would mean so much if you could make a small donation to help me reach my target.

Diabetes affects so many people, there are currently around 3.7 million people living with diabetes in the UK, and an estimated 415 million worldwide.

I want to do all I can to raise awareness so that hopefully one day we can find a cure.

Thank you x
