Fitzy's Fund
Campaign by Bone Cancer Research Trust (RCN 1159590)
Fitzy's Fund is a Special Fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust raising vital funds for life-saving research into Ewing sarcoma.

Story

On the 23rd April I will be running the London Marathon for Fitzy’s Fund, in honour of Sam Fitzsimmons who lost his life to Ewing’s Sarcoma in 2020. I will be running with my boyfriend, Elliot, who was one of Sam’s best friends.

The aim of Fitzy’s Fund is to raise awareness of lesser known cancers - such as sarcomas and bone cancer - which are overlooked, underfunded and under-researched. Money raised will fund research into Ewing’s Sarcoma where current treatments are limited and there are low survival rates.

You can find more information about Sam and his amazing fund using the following link:

Sam was a force of nature full of joie de vivre. He was fun, loving and adventurous. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Liv
