Story

Our team is part of the Liver Research Group working in the Institute of Immunology and Immunotherapy  at the University of Birmingham.

We focus on developing new therapies for patients with autoimmune liver diseases.

Currently we are delivering the first Treg cell therapy trial (AUTUMN) in autoimmune liver disease patients.

We recognise that we could not have got to this stage without our funders and our patients. We are grateful to the QEHB (Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham) charity for supporting our translational cell therapy trial. To showcase our gratitude, we are running the upcoming Birmingham Half and Full marathons to raise funding for the charity.

Mo, Suz, Naomi and Ye are running marathons on 15th October and Hannah, Louisa, Becky, Angela, Helen, Suz, Naomi, Baksho and Meemee are baking cakes to raise money for the charity on 29th September.

We invite you to join us to support QEHB charity.
