I am running the British 10K London Run to help raise money for Mesothelioma UK Charitable Trust, whose efforts help combat and raise awareness of Cancer caused by Asbestos. 

I will be running in loving memory of my dad's best friend, Gary Britnell, who sadly passed away in February 2014. He was like a brother to my dad, and I know that my dad always has and always will treasure the friendship they shared for decades. I can only hope to have such great friends in my lifetime. Seeing how much Gary's loss has effected by dad, family and friends, has inspired me to do this run. So please give what ever you can, small or large, to help fight this horrible disease. 

In the meantime, my thoughts are with Gary's whole family in this difficult time. May his memory live on, and continue to inspire me throughout training for the run. RIP Gary, see you at the finish line!! xxx
