I did it! 

Going to be honest, I'm super proud of myself for completing it. It wasn't easy but I had the best support team of friends and family to keep me going.

Back in March DeafKidz announced they had some marathon places and would anyone like to volunteer.  Of course, I said, plenty of time to train.  Then life got busy and time moved strangely fast but slow and here we are!  Not quite the training schedule I'd planned but I am determined to give it a go as I really do believe in the work that DeafKidz does to support, empower, listen to and teach deaf children and adults internationally.  The impact on people's lives for the better is real.

So, on Sunday the 3rd October, think of me plodding along (with some very dedicated friends), and donate if you can.
