Before Onelife, I was a youth pastor for 11 years. I experienced the impact of this charity first hand in my own leadership and in raising up the young people I worked with. I saw the impact of the vision to give young people the tools to  influence and lead both now and in the future out of their faith. I watched as the 15 and 16 year olds had what I call 'Lightbulb moments' and they realised they could change relationships, environments and society...they could lead! I now have the privilege of leading the team at Onelife and have been part of the adventure for the past 7 years. The training, events and resources go out to youth pastors and young people to see them grow in their faith, develop their character and learn the skills to lead others well. As we continue to steer through Covid-19 there has never been a more important time to invest in the next generation of young leaders. We are walking 21 miles for 2021 in London stopping at markers that represent politics, church, the arts, sport, media, education and family. We will be praying for young leaders to step into these spaces and lead with faith, integrity and have the ability to call out the gold in those around them and see these spaces changed.
