Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

At the end of Summer 2016 I realised I rarely rode Tess and wasn't really enjoying it when I did. If I thought she was saleable I would have put her on the market but with several issues getting her to the age of 7 I had decided she probably wouldn't sell either.
I had been watching the terrible yet inspiring tale of Hannah and Wilberry Wonder Pony. When the Wobbleberry Challenge was raised a month after she passed away I thought "time to give this one last chance, time to give Tess one last proper chance, time to prioritise my riding too-we only get one shot at this life"
So we signed up with Tess really green due to lack of opportunities not consistently able to correctly strike off in canter and me terrified of hacking out of walking down hill, of jumping, of poles in fact of anything that wasn't Dressage, and the Dressage was just frustrating us.
And we signed up to a challenge to complete a BE80 within 12 months!! So a good Dressage test including canter, a round of shoe jumps with a maximum height of 85cm and a cross country course out at speed over undulating (sometimes quite steep) ground whilst clearing solid fences.

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
