As many of you are aware, November is a very tough month for us all as a family as it marks the anniversary that my blue eyed beautiful boy gained his angel wings. He was admitted to Birmingham children’s hospital following a serious RTA where he was airlifted to hospital, despite every effort from the amazing team at the hospital, unfortunately Charlie had sustained a head injury so severe, we had no choice other than to let his life support machine be turned off. He was an organ donor (tissues and valves) after I did the heartbreaking thing that no mum should ever have to do... hold him in my arms to take his last breath.
It has not been an easy journey, but the staff at the hospital have been amazing!!! The last 3 years I’ve taken on this challenge to keep my mind focused and out of trouble. So please dig deep and help these amazing doctors and nurses continue to do what they do so well x
