I am fundraising to support Papyrus - a charity which works to prevent young suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people in the UK - four times the number who are killed in road traffic accidents.

To do this I am organising a Hopewalk again this year on Victoria Park, Leicester. It's on Saturday 14th October at 2.30pm - meet at the War Memorial and walk as many one mile circuits as you want. You can be sponsored, make a donation or just walk to raise awareness and honour Stephen's memory. Wear purple!!

We lost our amazing and beloved son Stephen in January 2016 - he was just 21. It came pretty much out of the blue and has been absolutely devastating and heartbreaking for us as a family. I never imagined this was something which could happen to us. We need more awareness - it is something which is not talked about and we had no idea about the risks or how to help. Papyrus is working hard to change this.
