Sophie's Marathon Bike Ride · 8 November 2020

We are already seeing the damaging effect of the Corona crisis on our income. We've had to close our shops, cancel events and cease rehoming - it's truly devastating.

Story

My name is Sophie. I am 7 years old and I go to St John's Primary School in Chorlton,  Manchester.

I want to raise money for the Animals in Distress Charity. I want to help them and for people to not be mean to animals.

I am going to ride my bike and scooter for a whole 26 mile marathon. I started yesterday and we did 3 miles.

Please will you help me to raise £50.00. If you can donate £1 or £2 I will be really happy.

The money that I raise will help the animals to have a nice life.

~~~~~~~~~~
Animals in Distress are an independent charity and rely solely on the income from their shops, rescue centre and generous supporters to enable them to feed and care for hundreds of unwanted and homeless animals every year. They have had to close all their shops, cancel events and cease rehoming and are facing a substantial shortfall income. Im helping raise funds for an emergency appeal to ensure that the charity can continue to look after the animals that so desperately need help.
