In June this year my amazing and beautiful friend Rebecca Hayward was taken from us far too soon. She has suffered with epilepsy almost all her life and has dealt with it without fuss or complaint and without having anyone really understand what it meant for her. 

Epilepsy Research UK supports the work of scientists and clinicians throughout the UK, who are investigating all aspects of epilepsy in both adults  and children. They are especially looking at what causes epilepsy, who gets it, what goes on in the brain during a seizure, and safer drugs and better surgical techniques to treat it. Supporting their research means that I may be able to ensure that in the future no one has to endure the pain and grief of losing a loved one to epilepsy.

During August the company that I work for has committed to match up to £100 per employee for any charity fundraising that we do. This means that my store has the potential to raise up to £5000 for this amazing charity!

So, dig deep and support Epilepsy Research UK's amazing work and honor Becky's memory.
