Having had a health issue earlier in the year (I'm fine now!), I had excellent treatment from the Women's Hospital and promised them that if I was able to train up for this, my second marathon, I'd do it in aid of their charity. Because of their excellent care, I was able to recover quickly and get training again. I've now completed a 22-mile training run and am pretty well ready to go - so here I am, raising a bit of money for them!

I've also had brilliant support from running club friends in my recovery and training - just a few of them are pictured here.
