Sibs have supported our family as one member has a learning disability and Autism.

Growing up around children with disabilities the focus is often on the parents and the person with the disability. Sibs is the only UK charity representing the needs of siblings of disabled people. 

Siblings have a lifelong need for information, and often experience social and emotional isolation whilst having to cope with difficult situations in their families. They also frequently become carers from a very young age, having to grow up fast and often being bullied as a result.

Sibs provides support, training and information to siblings and families, and have been a lifeline to mine.
