I say every  year I would like to walk The  Windermere Marathon but never get round to it. I was talking to someone recently who had done the same walk. So I am going to get on with it   depending on weather it will be 20th or 21st March (I am not doing it in pouring rain !! haha ) I then thought why not try and raise some pennies for a local charity .

St John's Hospice care for local people in many many different ways . I think most of us know of someone they have cared for or support over the years. We live in such small  caring community where we all  know most people. Their care ,support and upstanding is very much appreciated when need .Did you know that they get 30% of there care funding for NHS the remaining 70% they rely on fundraising and the local community   

I would be very grateful for your help in helping me raise a few pennies while having a beautiful walk round the lake  before the traffic starts again .
