Trek Fest Brecon Beacons · 6 June 2015 to 7 June 2015 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Suggested by Linsay, with a desire to give something back and to challenge ourselves, to have a goal and focus Trek Fest it was, not the 13 mile, nor the 29 mile but the biggie, 54 miles in 24 hours! Wish us luck, especially as it's Wales and what's the chance of it raining? Given that I don't do cold and wet (and dark) that in itself is challenge enough for me.
Some prep walks have already taken place but the flat landscape of Lincoln is no match for "The Brecon Beacons"
I have chosen Epilepsy Action as the charity I'm fundraising for as my lovely friend Caroline Needham's daughter, Eloise began having seizure's at two and a half weeks old. Epilepsy for Eloise has been life changing, but she is an amazing girl, as are her family (especially Caroline) who tirelessly ensures that Eloise's life is full and happy.
I am grateful for knowing that you have taken the time to read this and are considering donating to support Eloise and others like her severely affected by Epilepsy. .
