Story
In 2020, my life quietly changed in a way I never expected. After weeks of uncertainty, appointments, and questions, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. It’s one of those moments that seems to divide life into a clear “before” and “after.”
At first, I didn’t quite know what it would mean for me. MS is unpredictable — some days are completely normal, others are anything but. It can affect how you move, how you feel, and even how you see the world. But one thing I knew for certain was this: I didn’t want my diagnosis to define what I could or couldn’t do.
That’s why this June, I am taking on a challenge — running 100 miles over the month.
For me, this isn’t just about the miles. It’s about proving to myself that I am still capable, still strong, and still moving forward, even on the days when MS makes that harder. Every step is a reminder that I’m more than my diagnosis.
But I’m not doing this alone, Freya is going to support me every mile along the way and each of us will complete 100 miles in June. Izzy will come along whenever she can.
We are raising money for the MS Trust, an incredible charity that supports people living with MS, funds vital research, and helps bring us closer to a world free from this condition. Their work makes a real difference — offering support, information, and hope to thousands of people navigating life with MS every day.
If you’re able to support us, whether by donating or simply sharing this page, it would mean a lot. Every contribution helps make a difference, and every bit of encouragement will keep us going when the miles start to feel tough.
This challenge is going to be hard — there will be days when I’m tired, days when my symptoms flare up, and days when motivation is low. But I’ll keep going, one mile at a time.
Because this is bigger than me.
Thank you for being part of the journey 💛
