My Story

It’s almost three years since Liz was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.  Life suddenly became less predictable, more of a challenge and very precious.  It was a shock to both of us to discover that this illness pays no attention to age and that every year many young people discover that they too have to deal with a progressive and degenerative condition.

In searching for information Liz found Bryn Williams, a young man fighting PD with exercise and humour. His blog and website set a bold, encouraging and positive example and we joined his walkers last year.

This year we went on the Wobbly Monster Hunt and walked along the shore of Loch Ness for 40 miles. The weather was kind and the scenery spectacular.  On the last day, which happened to be Chris’s birthday, we finished in style walking 19 miles.

The support of friends and family is so very important when life is tricky we really appreciate both those who walk with us and of course the generosity of everyone who contributes to our fundraising kitty. Please help us to reach our target Thank you for your support.
