One of my children was born with congenital cmv almost 19 years ago. Luckily this was picked up early when he was 8 days old and he received excellent treatment at St Marys Hospital in London. The first 6 years were very difficult but he has grown into a brilliant young adult of whom we are very proud.  We were put in touch with another family at the time which was comforting but really knew very little about this condition.

I would like to raise money for cmv action in the hope that research may help get rid of this virus and also to fund their support of other families affected by cmv.
