Story

Update: Thank you to everyone who has given so generously, it is a great encouragement. I am pleased to inform you all that I have passed my Grade 1 Violin with a Distinction! I have therefore decided to continue learning the Violin as my latest hobby!

---

Living with a disability is always hard and challenging. I know this as I am myself blind and therefore have a great empathy for those who suffer with spinal injuries. Any small task they overcome and achieve takes them on their road to recovery and establishing life in a new and positive way.

I have therefore risen to the challenge of learning a new instrument which is not from my familiar wind section. Strings and bows are completely foreign to me, however, by the 27th of February I have to be ready to take my Grade 1 exam on the violin!

I hope you will all sponsor me and be very generous in your giving for this very worthwhile charity. If you're a tax payer remember to check Gift Aid as this makes a big difference.

Many thanks,
Liz
