Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We decided that participating in our first ever sporting event was the perfect time to raise some money for The Smile Train. Frederica (Lizi's daughter, Paul's niece) was born with a sub-mucous cleft palate and although she didn't require surgery she had difficulty with feeding and was monitored by the cleft palate team at the JR Hospital in Oxford. The Smile Train provides life-changing cleft lip and palate surgery for children around the world who aren't as fortunate as we are in having access to free healthcare. £150 provides enough money for one child to have surgery.

We are participating in the 'Bone Shaker' - a duathlon taking place in Oxfordshire - Lizi will be running 5km, Paul will then cycle 20km and Lizi will finish off with another 5km run!
