Event: SAMH Stomp, on 6 October 2018
Scotland’s unique stair climbing challenge is back, as we stomp to better Scotland's mental health!

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The SAMH promotional piece for this crazy challenge says ‘You may not be the world’s greatest athlete (boy, they got that right!) but you don’t have to be’.  Phew!! That’s a relief then as I’ve committed to this bonkers challenge on 6th October with little or no preparation or training.

The Stomp stair-climbing challenge covers 4,200 stairs in Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh which has temporarily been turned pink for the occasion.  Participants will be raising vital funds for Scotland’s mental health.

Reading this, you’ll know our family tragically lost our beautiful 19 year old Son Ruari in 2015 and it’s been through our grieving journey we have become aware of the amazing care, help and support that SAMH offer, in amongst many other things; suicide prevention.

Please help any way you can…..sponsorship would be fabulous as it really does help to change lives and encouragement would be gratefully received too!
