Liz's Luvlies will be running the Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon in memory of our gorgeous friend Liz, who sadly passed away in August last year. Liz was born and raised in Dublin and although a Middleton lass since her marriage to John, it seemed fitting to remember her in her hometown.

Liz was a keen runner and nudged a few of the ladies involved to start running - she even ran around London dressed as a Dalek! For some of the lovely ladies, this will be their first half marathon, for others it will be a new place to run, but for all of us, including our team of supporters and cheerers, it will be a celebration of all that is Liz, everything that made her the person that we knew and loved!

Liz was first diagnosed with a brain tumour four and a half years ago and bravely fought from that moment on and it is for this reason that we will be raising money for Brain Tumour Research to support their vital work.
