This year I have lost two wonderful people to this dreadful illness; my grandfather Ray Adams and my GCSE german school teacher Jan Perkins, both of whom I admired greatly. They both fought with amazing strength and positivity and I will never forget either of them.

I'm racing in July to raise funds in memory of both of these inspirational people, to prevent losses like these for others in the future. Cancer research is showing results but we are not at the finish line yet and all donations can make a difference to so many people's lives. I would therefore be extremely grateful for any sponsorship
