I’m taking on the iTRI challenge for Barnardo’s, Austin's Hamster Haven and Tower Hill Stables. This March I’ll be completing a long distance triathlon (iron man distances). I’ll be swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 miles and running 26.2 miles by the end of the month. (To make it more of a challenge, I won't be counting my cycle commute miles! I will also be away in Sicily for a week in March!!)

Barnardo's is a charity which helps vulnerable children in the UK (of which there are an ever-increasing number, thanks to politics!). Austin's Hamster Haven is run single-handedly by someone who relies on donations in addition to funding it herself by taking on as many nursing shifts as humanly possible, coming home to cages needing cleaning and inmates needing food, medication etc rather than sleep. Tower Hill Stables is an animal sanctuary run by two dedicated individuals who work round the clock to look after the hundreds of animals great and small in their care. 

Whatever the total is that you all donate for Barnardos, I will match. Then I will donate the same amount to Austin's Hamster Haven and Tower Hill Stables.
