Welcome, not only to my 'just giving' page but to the start of an incredible journey.

As a Mummy I know how important it is to give your child the future they deserve. It is something that most of us do instinctively but for some children the future doesn't always look bright. Barnardo's want every child to have a bright future and this is why I feel so honoured that Barnardo's have asked me to join their team and help raise both money and awareness by running in the London Marathon 2016.

I am not a natural athlete, in fact I much prefer a movie, a glass of wine and a snuggle on the sofa to a cold wet run. However, I think those that know me will testify that what I lack in athleticism I make up for in sheer determination and I've never been more determined. I may have thighs which resemble a raw pork chop (not a great look) but I am ready to take these pork chops and rise to the challenge.

Please help me and the pork chops 'meat' our target and do Barnardo's proud😃
