I will be running the London Landmark's half marathon as a part of Man&Boy's fundraising campaign to raise "22 in 22". 

I've been involved as a volunteer with this charity for the past couple of years through my husband, who is the Acting Director. 

Man&Boy is a small charity based in London, whose mission is to encourage boys that are vulnerable, or that have additional needs, to reach their full potential by facilitating their relationship with a significant adult male role model in their life. They engage with the families through the running of camps involving fun, outdoor-based activities that aim to build upon that bond, as well as running courses and other events in the year, and are available free to the families. 

Last year I participated in several of their camps, and have been so privileged in this opportunity to witness the significance of these experiences. I wholeheartedly believe in the potential of their mission to strengthen these key relationships, and the importance of this in overcoming life challenges, creating positive memories and raising self-esteem for both the men and the boys.
