I love working as a Children’s Critical Care Transport Nurse, I love swimming and I absolutely love a challenge! So in my mind, this opportunity was not to be missed! 

In June 2021, alongside lots of other lovely people, including two of my amazing colleagues, I will be taking part in a Relay Team to swim the 21 miles of the English Channel. 

This is going to be a huge challenge for me; I need to get super swim fit, start loving the cold and get  friendly with Jellyfish!!! I am however, very excited!!

 The Children’s Air Ambulance are a fantastic charity who offer poorly children, their families and their transport teams, just like mine, the opportunity to be safely transferred to their destinations in times quicker than can be achieved by land.
