Lizzie's Tea Party for Diabetes has taken place in Ballater every year since 2007. Like many events, it has been affected by the Covid-19 restrictions.

The party was due to have taken place on the Green on Saturday May 2nd, but the charity we send the money to - The Pendsey Trust, which provides insulin and other diabetic supplies to underprivileged children in Nagpur, India - still needs our support.

So, instead, we are asking people to make donations online this week through this page. Any Ballater folk who donate will be treated to a wee plate of cakes/treats on Saturday, prepared and delivered with all the expected precautions. Our faraway friends are also welcome to donate - we send you love, best wishes and spirit calories...

We also intend to throw the "real" party later in the year once restrictions are lifted!
