This Easter, I will be spending 12 days trekking to and from Everest Base Camp in an effort to raise money for Kidasha Childrens Charity in Nepal. After the trek we will also be spending time in Nepal and visit the Kidasha Charity headquarters.

Nepal remains among the poorest and least developed countries in the world. The UN estimates that about 40% of Nepalis live in poverty. For children and young people in Nepal the journey from birth to adulthood is filled with risks. Out of every 100 children in the areas where Kidasha works:

• 90 have been born without any medical help
• 90 do not have safe water to drink
• 40 are underweight or have stunted growth
• 38 will not complete primary education
• 34 will be involved in child labour

So please make whatever donations you can to help these children that desperately need it.
