Please sponsor me . . . . I'll be challenging myself to complete 108 Sun Salutations at a special yoga inspired charity event on 10th September from 3pm - 7pm at the Totley Pavilion, Penny Lane, S17 3AZ.  You can come along and join in for some or all of this, get free yoga tuition from me on the day or if yoga isn't your thing, you can simply eat cake and drink tea (or something stronger) and enjoy the late summer vibe.  There'll be kids games, tug 'o' war and a raffle too.  All proceeds will go to St Wilfrid's Centre, Sheffield.

Why yoga?  - "Cuz yoga's what I do best" . . but seriously, yoga isn't just about the myriad mental and physical health benefits you get from exercising and nurturing your body and mind . . . yoga has the power to bring people together and make things happen . . . Calm healthy people building a more peaceful world where every-body feels included and loved. 

Why St Wilfrid's? - I dunno about you, but I find it heartbreaking to see that many people in our wonderful city of Sheffield feel socially excluded and pushed towards the margins of society.  People who are vulnerable, have learning disabilities and those who are homeless need practical assistance, a sense of belonging and support to regain their self esteem.  And this is where St Wilfrid's Centre can help - but we need your generous donations . . .

Each year the St Wilfrid's Centre help and support over 500 people from their day-centre based in the heart of Sheffield.  You should see this place - it's truly inspirational!  But they need £450,000 per year just to run their existing services.  Your support really will make a difference.
