In August 2022, Ava's sister and our wonderful family friend Beth tragically passed away aged 25 from sepsis. 

We are running for UK Sepsis Trust to raise awareness for the symptoms of sepsis, which are often difficult to recognise but are fatal. We hope to raise money for the charity so that no family has to experience the loss of when sepsis takes away a brilliant person like Beth from the world.

Beth loved physical challenges and championing important causes, and so we want to honour and celebrate her memory by completing the London Landmarks Half Marathon together for UK Sepsis Trust.

Along with 4 of my oldest school friends, we will be dusting off our cobwebs from a complete lack of fitness in an effort to transform ourselves into lean mean running machines (even if we have to crawl across the finish line). 

I hope that we would make Beth proud, and I'm sure she will be smiling down at us and probably having a giggle at us complaining about how slow we are...
