Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The last couple years have been some of the challenging of my life. Last year my dad was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. This was a huge shock to our family but with support from friends, family and the Alzheimer's society we carry on with a normal life.

There are plenty of families who are in the same position as ours and I hope I can raise enough money to even contribute towards an overall goal of finding a cure to this awful disease.

My wonderful friends (Vicky, Claire and Emma) will be joining me to do the three peak challenge. This is completing Ben Nevis, snowdon and scafell pike with 24 hours. Mad I know. Only 40% of people who set out to complete this challenge succeed and the majority are men. If we can prove that we can complete it then we can make everyone believe there is a cure out there somewhere!!

We are also completing the Histon half marathon on 7th June. For anyone who knows me, you'll know this challenge is just as hard as the peaks. I've never been a runner and I will probably never run again after this!!!!

Thank you to everyone who donates. Xxx
