At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I only know one person who has run a marathon over and over again and his name is Rodney (aka Mike's Gramps). He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, just like my own Grandmother was many years ago. Simply put, Rodney loved running and would still be the oldest man in any race if he still could.

I'm running 26.2 miles on Valentine's Day to raise as much money as I can for this great charity. I will be thinking of Rodney along each mile. So please dig deep and help make a difference.
