Story

Welcome to my fund-raising page.

I aim to attend and work as a volunteer interpreter at the World Outgames 2nd International Conference held in Copenhagen, Denmark this July/August 2009

I would like to volunteer my time to have a once in a life time experience in international sign language interpreting. The conference is being held from the 25th July through to 2nd August 2009.

If you are able to assist me in this endeavour, it will not only make a difference to me, but a tremendous difference to the Deaf and Hearing Impaired people attending this fabulous conference.

The monies raised will only be going towards my travel expenses, I will be covering all accommodation, meals throughout my time at the conference.

Some of the interesting conferences and exciting sports events I will be interpreting at consist of 38 different sports disciplines, from aerobics to wrestling, for competitors at all skills levels. There also will be a wide variety of cultural events including performances, exhibitions and parties to inspire, provoke and make you dance like crazy.

World Outgames 2009 will also feature a human rights conference addressing issues and concerns of the LGBT community  and all others for whom "LOVE OF FREEDOM AND FREEDOM TO LOVE" is self-evident.
