London Landmarks Half Marathon 2023 · 2 April 2023 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

On 19th January 2023 it was 5 years since we had to say goodbye to my Nan. I will run this half marathon in her memory.

Selina Snelling loved children and believed strongly in protecting them and giving them the best life. She supported the NSPCC and when she passed, donations were given to the charity in her memory.

My Grandad (Harry Snelling) has given a very generous donation of £100 to start my fundraising efforts for which I am extremely grateful.

Nothing can change how much we miss Nan but I hope to channel her strength, resilience & courage to get me through this challenge! I only began running in January 2022 and have so far run 15k at the most in one go. I’m nervous but determined and hope you will show support by throwing a few quid into the pot 😉

Thank you for whatever you are able to donate.
