London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·

This is not your average half marathon! From cultural landmarks, to the city's quirky and hidden secrets, runners get to explore the capital on a route like no other.

Story

I am participating in the London Landmark Half Marathon to support Mind UK because their cause holds a deeply personal significance to me. Having first-hand experience with mental health challenges both in my own life and within my close family, I understand the difficulties and stigma that can surround these issues. Recently, I decided to take action and join this marathon to help raise awareness and funds for Mind UK, an organization that plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap for those who struggle with mental health in the UK.

Mind UK is an invaluable charity that works tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by mental health issues. They offer a wide range of services, from raising awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health to providing direct assistance to those in need. Mind UK advocates for better mental health services, campaigns for policy change, and operates numerous local branches and helplines across the UK to offer immediate support and guidance to those facing mental health challenges.

By participating in this marathon and supporting Mind UK, I hope to contribute to their mission of making sure that individuals in the UK have access to the help and resources they need to lead healthier and happier lives.
