Story
Having reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro 7 years ago in aid of supporting The Christie’s Hospital, I wanted to revisit an old version of myself.
This time by successfully completing 3 peaks in the UK I’ve always wanted to hike to support a foundation that works closely with communities in the Greater Manchester area. I felt that during such a tough and challenging period in people’s lives, now better than any, was the time to step up and help people and families beyond my own household.
Audacious Foundation works to see communities transformed, individuals empowered and enabled to thrive in every season of life. Your support will help us to provide practical solutions to societal challenges, addressing issues such as homelessness, food poverty, health and society through a number of grass-roots projects and initiatives.
I have watched and seen from afar how Audacious have supported the wider communities during COVID-19 and lockdown. Seeing examples of volunteers using monies raised to support households with working appliances so they are able to cook and provide. Being able to provide homes and shelter for those that are experiencing severe poverty.
It would mean the world to me if you could support by donating now matter how big or small so that families and individuals manage to survive this unprecedented pandemic.
