Story

My Grandad Roy passed away in May of this year, and we miss him every day.

He'd suffered from dementia over the past few years, which meant he had become forgetful, but he never forgot us - just like we'll never forget him.

My sister, my Dad, my brother-in-law and myself are walking 13 miles through London to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. This horrendous disease takes too much from too many, and we hope to help in finding a cure.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
