Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page which has been set up in order to help raise funds and contribute to Lewis's dream of a Wheelchair accessible sensory garden.

Lewis was born in November 2002.  He was diagnosed with West Syndrome at 3 months of age. This has since developed into a condition called Lennox Gastaut Syndrome (LGS). LGS is a rare and extremely severe form of epilepsy with multiple seizure types which causes severe global developmental delay.

Lewis can have 100’s of different seizures every day and his condition is resistant to any medication or therapies which have been tried. He also is severely disabled and unable to do anything for himself relying on his parents for all his personal care needs. He requires 24 hour care on a daily basis and his parents have both had to give up work to look after him.

On Sunday the 9th of August 2015, I am taking part in the Olympic distance London Triathlon, which involves a 1.5KM swim, 40KM bike ride and 10KM run to help raise much needed funds for this brilliant cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please give whatever you can in order to help make this little boys dream become a reality.
