Story
Yes, you've read correctly.. I'm running the London Marathon!
As some of you know, in 2018 I lost my Mum, Helen, to Cancer. I've been thinking for some time about what I can do to honour her memory. The London Marathon is something I have been thinking about for the last few years. So, this year I have been lucky enough to be accepted to run in aid of Macmillan Cancer support. Strangely enough I found out on the date of my Mum's birthday, that i had been accepted by Macmillan. - A sure sign from my Mum!
I'm looking to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan as a thank you for their care and support towards my mum and us as a family during her cancer battle.
Feel free to check in on my Strava profile. I started training a couple of months ago, needless to say, i'm going to need a lot more miles in the legs before race day.
Thank you in advance for supporting my fundraising.
