Lloyds Banking Group - Mental Health UK

Lloyds Banking Group - Mental Health UK · 27 July 2017
Lloyds Banking Group have partnered up with Mental Health UK to try and raise awareness of the debilitating effects mental health issues can have, and also the financial problems that may ensue because of this.
Did you know that in any given year, 1 in 4 people in the UK are affected by mental health issues? and of these, 4million experience financial difficulties, which can often make this issue worse?
The chances that you, or someone you know have suffered with bad mental health in the past year are extremely high, so it is undoubtedly something that affects us all at some point in our lives.
Lloyds Banking Group and Mental Health UK aim to create the UK's first combined mental health and money advice service. It will offer practical and personal guidance and information to any member of the public who is struggling with their finances, as a result of bad mental health.
Just £10 could allow an advice worker at MHUK to answer a call from someone in desperate need of advice, and £100 will train a new advice worker to provide valuable one-to-one support.
We, the summer interns in Cardiff are organising a variety of fundraisers to try and raise as much money for this amazing cause as possible. We will be completing a spin challenge on the 15th August, where we will collectively spin for 10 hours between 8am and 6pm non-stop in St Williams Hill, Cardiff, and a Charity Car wash on the 8th August
If you would like to sponsor us, we would greatly appreciate anything you can spare for this important cause, and we can't wait to start making a difference to so many peoples lives.
Thank You!
