Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On April 13 2014 I will run my 25th consecutive London Marathon and it will also be my 100th marathon run!

I have been lucky to run in London every year since 1990. My best performance was 2 hours 54 minutes in 1997.

In 2003 I ran the Paris Marathon and then run six marathons through France and back to London running the London Marathon the following Sunday.

In 2008 I ran 13 marathons from Land's End to London completing the London Marathon once again!

So I have run many marathons over the years including ones in North America, the Sahara Desert, Iceland and the Himalayas.

I am running for MND because a personal friend has recently been diagnosed with this devastating disease. He was a fit and active person like myself.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. A list of every marathon I have run can be viewed on my website at: www.the-runner.co.uk

Update: Yes, I did it! One of my slower times in 5 hours 11 minutes but probably one of my most enjoyable London Marathons. Running in fancy dress  (See picture) made the crowds even more supportive and encouraging. Thanks to all who have kindly donated. I will contact everyone personally soon.

Thanks You!
