Lilly-Mays Fundraiser for The Little Princess Trust

Lilly-May’s Fundraiser for The Little Princess Trust · 28 January 2020
Lilly-May is a normal 7 year old girl. She loves nothing more than playing with her older sister and younger brother and winding them both up 😂
In July 2019 she came home from school and told us all about a little girl at school who had her hair cut and had donated it to ‘sick’ children.
She was full of questions, so we googled The Little Princess Trust to find out more.
Lilly-May was so taken back by what the girl at school had done that she decided she’d like to do the same, so after months of growing her hair even longer we finally decided that she was adamant on doing this and fully embraced her lovely, amazing, selfless decision to donate her beautiful long hair to such a worthy cause.
She is so excited about having the ‘Big Chop’ and has read that from receiving the hair donations at The Little Princess Trust office, through to styling and fitting a bespoke wig, it costs the charity £550 to provide a real-hair wig free of charge, to a wig recipient.
They supply over 100 wigs every month. The Little Princess Trust need financial donations as well as hair donations in order to fund the actual manufacturing of the wigs and wig fitting service.
Every single penny that Lilly-May can raise really will count!! So please help by sponsoring her to have her hair cut and to reach her goal of £550 to cover the cost to create a wig from her hair donation!!
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, The Little Princess Trust are there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. Their mission statement states that they won't stop until the research that they fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise.
Please visit them at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can also help give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. They receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for them so that we can help more families.
