Having a son who was rushed to the neonatal ward, intubated,
and started his little life in a critical state, the pain and heartache as a
parent was immense. Thankfully, our son is now a happy and healthy little lad; unfortunately, not all families are blessed with such outcomes…

As such, I am proudly fundraising for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust, a local charity who provide care for children with a life-threatening or terminal illness. The Snowdrop Trust is currently supporting 64 families by providing vital nursing care in the home, as well as counselling and financial help where needed. Already as a company, we have dedicated our fundraising to this fantastic cause, but in 2021 we want to give the Sussex Snowdrop Trust a further boost as many of their fundraising events have been cancelled due to Covid-19.

Having never abseiled before, and being a bit of a chicken when it comes to heights, I figured that the worry and fear of abseiling 560ft is nothing compared to that of having a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.
