A Smile A Mile · 21 August 2009

Operation Smile provides free cleft surgeries for children around the globe. We train local doctors to give them the expertise to carry out these surgeries long after we have gone. In as little as 45 minutes & for just £150 we can provide surgery that will transform a child’s life forever.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Operation Smile work in developing countries to repair childhood facial deformities such as cleft palates. They provide a ‘Smile’ for life for all their patients, they not only deal with surgeries but also provide ongoing after-care which is required to correct facial deformities.

As a team we will walk the length of the Thames Path Trail, all 184 miles from the Cotswolds to the Thames Barrier!

The  trail is divided into 15 sections starting at the Source of the Thames in Kemble and passing through the following: Cricklade; Lechlade; Newbridge; Oxford; Abingdon; Wallingford; Tilehurst; Henley-on-Thames; Marlow; Windsor; Shepperton; Teddington; Putney; Tower Bridge; Thames Barrier.

So please dig deep and donate now, and help us support this worthy cause!!
