Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance is Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service. We rely on public support to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland. No one in Scotland should die because help can't get there in time.

Story

If you are unable to come along to our Open Day at Loch Earn Sailing Club on 28 May 2016 but would still like to offer your support to SCAA - any donations are much appreciated.

This month (April) marks the first anniversary of an incident at LESC where, in challenging conditions during an Early Sunday Series Race, John McDonald was racing in his yacht, The Hooligan, with his crew, was hit in the face by the boom and knocked unconscious into the water.

On rescue duty was grandson, Aaron Murray, who transported John safely to shore where he was attended by first aiders and the emergency services were called. John was flown by Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance to  Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where he received surgery on his fractured jaw, and has since made a full recovery.

We would like to raise awareness for the service provided by SCAA who rely 100% on donations.
